Laid off? We're here to help!

We have information and resources to help you during this difficult time

Knowledgeable team members from Michigan Works! Southeast and the Unemployment Agency of the State of Michigan will share information on how to file unemployment claims, and share available services through Michigan Works! Southeast. We are here to support you with your job search activities while connecting you with new job opportunities.

While the President has enacted a series of executive orders to provide additional unemployment benefits, this program has not yet been implemented. All states are currently awaiting guidance from the U.S. Department of Labor regarding implementation. There is no further information at this time. Please continue to check the UIA website for updates.
