On Friday July 21, 2017, Nine area teams competed for the 2017 iChallengeU Simi-Finalist title. Teams consisted of high school students from Onsted, Addison, Morenci, Jackson Public Schools, Tecumseh Schools, Sand Creek Schools, Hudson Schools, Grass Lake Schools, Hillsdale Schools, Adrian Schools, Pittsford Schools, Jonseville Schools, Michigan Center Schools, Northwest Schools and Ann Arbor Schools. Each team was sponsored by a local business who asked the students to solve a real life business problem.
The winning team was sponsored by Lenawee County Education Foundation who tasked their group of teens with developing a solution to the driving question: How do we get prescription drugs back where they belong?
2nd place had a tie between the Dalhem Center and Orbitform.
