Rowan was shy and struggled to advocate for themselves, but through one-on-one career coaching and planning, they learned how to use their voice. This culminated when Rowan took the initiative to participate in Legislative Day in Lansing, where they met with local representatives and senators to share their experience as someone navigating the workforce with a disability. Rowan’s courage, combined with their newfound skills, made a lasting impression on the congresspeople and all those they encountered!

“Legislative Day is important for us to attend because we are making differences in people’s lives. We can share our story and experiences to help other people find their way.” – Rowan K.
