Jackson Summer Youth Employment is a public-private collaboration that believes in the power of utilizing the strengths and assets of the individuals and organizations in the Jackson County region. Together, we guide young adults from all backgrounds towards pursuing their passions and inspire employers and mentors who want to give back to the community.

Career Camp is a one‑day event filled with interactive activities to help you explore careers and build essential skills. Try VR career simulations, join soft‑skills workshops, learn about current labor market trends, take a career assessment, enjoy group activities, and—of course—pizza, all while discovering your future path.
Washtenaw

SummerWorks is the Washtenaw County Summer Youth Employment Program, a 10-week summer employment and mentorship program that pairs local employers with young adults aged 16-24. It connects youth to resources for building professional networks, exploring career opportunities, and developing essential job and leadership skills.
