Carla came to Michigan Works! Southeast seeking a better paying career. While working with her career advisor, she learned she can leverage her experience as a school bus driver to transition into truck driving. Carla worked diligently to obtain the necessary training, which MWSE helped offset the cost. She now works for a trucking company and earning $23 an hour!
