Employer Success: Caster Concepts
Caster Concepts is a manufacturer of heavy duty casters based in Albion, MI. The company obtained promising new tools that would increase the productivity, but there was one problem: none of their employees knew how to use them!
Caster Concepts needed to invest in their workers so they reached out to Michigan Works! Southeast for the Skilled Trades Training Fund (STTF). The manufacturer was soon awarded and used the money to train two of their programmers: Jason Johnson and Tim Tittler. In the course of their training, Jason and Tim developed skills that made them highly valuable in the company.
