Michigan Works! Southeast Names Misty Shulters as the New Deputy Director

Earlier today, Michigan Works! Southeast announced Misty Shulters as their new Deputy Director.  Misty will be transitioning into her new role as she continues to transition out of her previous role as Service Center Manager in Lenawee, MI.

“We are fortunate to have someone with Misty’s experience in workforce development, her dedication to community engagement and innovative leadership allow her to step into and grow in this role,” said Shamar Herron, Executive Director, Michigan Works! Southeast.

 

Originally from the Lenawee County area, Misty began her career in workforce development as a Career Advisor in 2009.  Since then, she has held a variety of positions, continuously growing within Michigan Works!. Misty currently serves on the Adrian Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Lenawee Essential Needs Council, Transportation Task Force of Lenawee and actively supports many other community collaborations.  Her goals for the organization include expanding community partnerships, crafting innovative talent solutions and enhancing the customer experience.
